Architecture

Our architects offer fresh and creative solutions for today's design challenges. MRA takes pride in working closely with our clients to satisfy their specific needs, whether they are for renovation or new construction. With decades of experience with residential, commercial, and multi-family architecture, our staff excels at creating buildings that enhance their environment and provide value to our clients. Our production department provides efficient, high-quality documentation. Our state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) technology, high-speed internet connections, multimedia & web authoring software and equipment, and digital imaging tools, generating efficient, high-quality documentation and presentations. We constantly evaluate and integrate new technologies into this process, helping our clients contain costs, reduce risks and add value to their projects.

Land Planning
Land planning at MRA complements the architectural services; we unite buildings with their surroundings to create a cohesive design program. Our planners consider aesthetics, safety, maintenance and long-term growth in the design of every site. Lighting, planting, grading and irrigation designs are included in the services we offer. We create site amenities, including ponds, fountains, and site furnishings, to further enhance the design plan. For planning projects, full construction documentation is available through the use of our CAD technology. Site analysis, feasibility studies, site planning, facility programming, and comprehensive master planning are services MRA offers as part of our site planning expertise.

Construction Management
Our creative design approach is augmented by a technical knowledge of the construction issues that affect each project. This in-depth understanding of the building industry makes MRA's Construction Management services a valuable asset to our clients. By monitoring the progress of construction, MRA is able to smoothly and efficiently guide the process, delivering results on time and under budget.

Visualization
An early pioneer in the use of Virtual Reality (VR) in architectural design, Mike Rosen has gained worldwide acclaim for his efforts to integrate advanced technology with the design process. With projects such as the Atlantic City Convention Center and a proposed Phillies stadium, Mr. Rosen gave clients a glimpse into the future, allowing them to see what their finished product would look like before the first brick was laid. A more ambitious project was ModelCity Philadelphia, a fully-textured VR model of Center City containing everything from cars driving around Love Park to sunlight gleaming off the windows of Liberty Place. Recently, Mike Rosen Architects developed new techniques for creating photo-realistic perspectives, elevations, and sections in short-order. Using our extensive digital library, we are able to piece together and manipulate architectural elements, creating pictures that tell a building's whole story, to scale, in full-color, at a low cost. Many examples of this technique can be found throughout the website - so if it looks real, be careful; it may be a computer-generated image designed to help visualize a project's full impact within the real context.
