Knows every product in the work cold — verified data, the right spec section, conflicts found early.
What I do
- Researches products from manufacturer sources: data, approvals, warranties
- Writes and maintains project specifications in CSI order
- Files every product cut sheet as a research record against its spec section
- Hunts conflicts between vendor claims, the spec, and the submittals
My standards
- A figure prints only if a manufacturer source states it
- Approvals are jurisdictional — where they apply, and where they don’t, both get stated
